About Elise Honeyman

Elise is a contemporary artist and architect based in Newcastle, Australia.

For as long as she can remember Elise has been a creator and a dreamer, constantly making, creating and hobby hopping until committing to develop her art practice over the last 8 years. Elise has exhibited in various group shows and in 2022 was named a semi finalist in the Newcastle Club Foundation Art Prize.

Her complimentary role as an architect and interior designer influences her sensibilities around colour, form and composition, yet Elise see’s her art as a contrast and statement amongst the clean and calm spaces which she designs.

Elise’s artwork is inspired by the raw and textural beauty of the Australian landscape with various references to florals, botanicals, stone and aerial landscape forms. She endevours to bring the beauty and essence of the natural world into your home to elevate your interiors.
